Marek Cichocki is a philosopher and historian of political thought who holds a Ph.D. awarded by the Polish Academy of Sciences (with the dissertation treating the subject of German conservative thought from political romanticism to Carl Schmitt) and currently serves as Professor at the College of Europe, Natolin Campus and Editor-in-Chief of Teologia Polityczna [Political Theology]. He is a former advisor to late Lech Kaczyński. In his work, he has focused particularly on conservative thought but also analyses of international politics, including in Central Europe, having served as Programme Director of the Centre for International Relations in Warsaw in the 2000s. He is the author, most recently of Północ i Południe: Teksty o polskiej kulturze i historii [North and South: Essays on Polish Culture and History] (2018).
